Supported Architectures

Devices such as home appliances which are configured to interact directly with the cloud through wifi. Adding BLE capability for device <-> phone interactions will improve users’ onboarding experience and troubleshooting capabilities.

Typically deployed with battery operated, bluetooth-only devices which use the phone as a gateway to the cloud. PaaG architecture allows Bluetooth-only devices to enjoy the extensive capabilities of Copilot platform. Copilot Mobile Core encapsulates the logic required when the phone is used as a gateway to the cloud and supports full offline mode when internet connection is not available.

Usually deployed with devices which are always connected, mobile (no access to wifi) and have a less sensitive BOM. The advantages of this configuration is the simple setup process of the device and the independence in a router or mobile phone.

Copilot Mobile Core

Copilot Mobile Core (CMC) covers significant development work required of any secure IoT mobile app by abstracting the complexity required by manufacturers  when developing a connected device — registration, password recovery, warranty activation, secure sign-in, communications infrastructure, device setup, WiFi / Bluetooth setup, Apple HomeKit setup, push notifications with deep linking, analytics, troubleshooting and more. Using CMC allows manufacturers to focus on developing proprietary functionality rather than “reinventing the wheel” and enjoy CMC security and communications infrastructure.

Copilot Cloud

Copilot Cloud infrastructure uses automatic load balancing and scaling to ensure your data is ingested even under the most challenging conditions. Copilot Cloud supports secure users login via OAuth 2.0 Industry standard. Copilot Cloud covers fundamental functionality such as user-device association and CRUD operations for your users, devices and system. When using direct architecture (wifi direct or LTE), Copilot Infrastructure offers a direct device-cloud secure communication using MQTT protocol. Copilot Cloud integrates with any existing operational server and provides a plug-and-play integration with most popular CRM systems.

Copilot BI Engine

Copilot BI engine constantly analyzes the raw data accumulated and extracts actionable insights. The data is often enriched by external data sources (weather, location, movement etc.) to enable defining more focused users groups such as:

1. Happy users
2. Users who are about to be attrited
3. Users who mainly use the device at home
4. Users who mainly use the device on the weekend

Each group can then be used as a target when using Copilot Engage module.

GDPR Compliance (Privacy)

GDPR is a new legislation which was introduced unilaterally across all EU Member States in May 2018. Zemingo Copilot provides the technology enterprise brands must have in place to ensure their data belonging to EU citizens is secure, accessible and is used with consent. Our new module will ensure enterprise are meeting key GDPR compliance requirements including data protection, data management and customer consent management.
